Mr. George Tsonis is Chief Technology Officer of OTE Group. From his position, he is responsible for the design, development, and operation of the OTE Group's fixed and mobile networks, contributing significantly to the unparalleled connectivity experience they offer. He has considerable experience in the field of telecommunications and joined the OTE Group in 2000, assuming various positions of responsibility. Since 2013 he held the position of Network Development & Operations Executive Director. From this position he managed to connect the company with a series of firsts in new generation network launches, but also with many international and national distinctions for the high level of quality and reliability they offer. Prior to this position, Mr. Tsonis was COSMOTE's Chief Technology Officer, responsible for mobile networks in five Balkan countries. He holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National University of Athens and an MBA from the University of Louisville.
